Rescheduled Schroders Battle of the Brits – Scotland versus England to be held December 21st and 22nd.

Schroders Battle of the Brits - Scotland versus England, featuring Jamie and Andy Murray and Britain's top male tennis players, has been rescheduled for the 21st and 22nd of December at Aberdeen's P&J Live.

The event, previously scheduled for the same dates in December 2021, was postponed in the interests of public health following the outbreak of the Omicron COVID-19 variant.

With Andy Murray confirmed to play alongside his brother Jamie, Schroders Battle of the Brits - Scotland versus England will give fans the chance to watch the Murray brothers play live in Scotland for the first time since 2016. They will spearhead what likely to be a strong home side against an accomplished England line-up featuring Dan Evans and some of the brightest tennis talents from south of the border. All tickets originally booked for December 2021 will be valid at this December's rescheduled event plus a small number of additional tickets are also now available HERE.

Tournament Director Jamie Murray said: "We were gutted when the event couldn't go ahead as planned so it's brilliant news that we're able to reschedule for December this year. There has been such fantastic buzz around bringing Battle of the Brits to Aberdeen and I think that's only going to get bigger throughout the year. I know Andy and the rest of the players are already excited and I'm sure there will be plenty of competitive chat amongst us all between now and the first ball being hit." Schroders Battle of the Brits – Scotland versus England is proud to support Aberdeen-based charity Maggie’s, which provides invaluable help, advice and support to cancer sufferers and their families.

Battle of the Brits would like to thank Event Scotland for its support, as well as travel partner Loganair, official hotel provider Hilton Hotels, Sopher and Co tax accountants and apparel sponsor Fila.Brodies LLP supports the Battle of the Brits event and Battle of the Brits in the Community, which sees Judy Murray bring tennis to children and adults across Aberdeen and North East Scotland.
