Subsea Expo is the world’s largest annual subsea exhibition and conference.

Organised by industry body Global Underwater Hub, the three-day event is a showcase of the capability, innovation, technologies and skills that exists across the underwater industry.  The exhibition will bring together around 150 exhibiting companies and organisations working in the oil and gas, decommissioning, renewable energy, defence, cabling and aquaculture sectors.

With the theme of ‘Into the Blue’, the well-established event will once again be a platform for cross-sectoral collaboration and discussion. Free-to-attend, Subsea Expo will welcome around 6,500 visitors keen to network with industry colleagues, find out about the latest innovations and technologies, and learn of the opportunities offered by the different underwater sectors.

Running alongside the exhibition will be a busy conference programme.  Multiple parallel sessions will take place over the duration of the three days, featuring debate on a number of current industry topics. This will include vessels and equipment, subsea production systems, robotics and autonomous operations, marine energy and security of critical national infrastructure.

The final day of the Subsea Expo aims to inspire schoolchildren and university students to become the next generation of subsea talent and consider a career in the underwater sector. Attendees will hear from British engineer and space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, who will share her passion for science, technology and engineering, and illustrate the important role they play in shaping our everyday lives.

There will also be opportunities for the young people to visit the exhibition and learn more about the underwater industry, and hear from young professionals who are in the early stages of their careers.

Offering a varied programme for visitors to learn about the latest innovations and technologies, join the debate on key industry talking points, network with colleagues and meet with industry partners and suppliers, Subsea Expo 2023 is shaping up to be a must-attend event.

Global Underwater Hub is the leading trade and industry development for the UK’s underwater industry. It represents nearly 300 member companies operating in the oil and gas, renewable energy, defence, aquaculture, decommissioning, cabling and subsea mining sectors, aiding business growth and supporting cross-sectoral collaboration and innovation.
