Rally Scotland Reveals New Identity As BBC Confirms WRC Broadcast Deal

Rally Scotland has revealed its new logo and event identity as preparations build for the FIA World Rally Championship’s return to the UK in 2027.
The new identity gives Scotland’s first full WRC round a clear and distinct look of its own, drawing on the country’s colours, symbols and rallying heritage. At its centre is a graphic device that connects the Scottish Saltire with the tread pattern of a World Rally Car tyre, bringing together national identity and the sport’s defining surface: gravel.
The main identity uses blue, white and purple, with further executions drawing on Scottish motifs including the thistle. The design has been created to work across the event’s digital channels, broadcast graphics, signage, merchandise, fan zones, volunteer materials and partner activity as Rally Scotland moves towards its autumn 2027 debut.
The new logo is now live across Rally Scotland’s website and social channels, with further applications to be rolled out as route, ticketing, volunteer and fan plans are announced.
Rally Scotland will be headquartered at The Event Complex Aberdeen, with Rally HQ and the Service Park based at the venue. The event will run on closed forest gravel roads across north-east Scotland, using a compact route built around proven rally territory, strong regional infrastructure and stages already praised by leading WRC crews.
The identity reveal comes on the same day that the BBC announced a major new three-year agreement to broadcast the FIA World Rally Championship across the UK from 2027 to 2029.
The BBC deal will include coverage of all 14 WRC rounds each season, with five live stages plus the Power Stage from each rally, 14 one-hour highlights programmes, digital clips and additional content across BBC platforms. Additionally, Rally Scotland will receive extensive live coverage across all four days of competition, giving UK audiences live, free-to-air access to the country’s first WRC round since 2019.
Hugh Chambers, CEO of Motorsport UK, the organisation behind Rally Scotland, said: “Rally Scotland already has the raw ingredients of a great World Rally Championship round: fast gravel roads, an incredibly supportive host city in Aberdeen, a strong base at TECA and a rally community that knows how to deliver.
“Today’s reveal of the new Rally Scotland logo and identity is another important step as we build towards 2027. The event now has a clear mark of its own: a stylised Saltire, shaped from the imprint of a rally car tyre and placed at the heart of the brand’s new identity. It gives Rally Scotland a look that feels rooted in the country, connected to the sport and ready for a major global event.

The BBC agreement gives Rally Scotland and the wider WRC a national platform from 2027, helping us reach long-standing fans and bring new audiences into the sport. It is an exciting development as we build towards a rally that can make a real mark for Scotland and for British motorsport.”
Scotland’s Minister for Sport, Maree Todd, said: “The World Rally Championship is a prestigious event in the motorsports calendar – and I am delighted that Scotland will host a leg in Aberdeenshire from next year until 2029.
“This new event will be a chance to showcase a unique part of our beautiful country to a global audience and re-enforce Scotland’s credentials in hosting major events, following this year’s Summer of Sport, which has seen us host the Commonwealth Games and the Men’s and Women’s Scottish Opens.
“I hope the new Rally Scotland event will also help raise the profile of the sport in Scotland and attract new competitors and fans to a thrilling competition.”

Yes, there is parking available on-site at P&J Live.
There are various ways to pay for your parking at P&J Live
On site payment machines: We accept both cash and card payments on site, pay on exit is required by entering your vehicle registration at any one of our machines located in the car parks. Please note payment machines only take coins and not notes.
APCOA Connect App: Up to 24 hour after you have left the venue, you can pay for your parking on the APCOA Connect App. Once you have downloaded the app, use location code 6680 for the Sub-T Car Park (underground) and location code 2356 for the Surface Car Park.
You can also pay for parking via the APCOA website here, click which car park you parked in and then you will be able to pay for parking.

Regular buses will be coming in and out of the complex daily for public use. Details on bus routes and operators are still in discussion and any updates will be posted on the getting here page of the website.
Currently, the Stagecoach Service 727 runs regularly from Aberdeen City Centre to Aberdeen Airport, stopping in the TECA site as well as the 64/64A Service from Union Square to Inverurie. Updated timetables can be found here.

Booking accessibility tickets has never been easier, this can now be booked online via AXS. If you are able or have someone to assist you please visit P&J Live's AXS Page, select the event you wish to see and click on ‘Wheelchair Tickets’ or ‘Ambulant Accessible Tickets’ to select your required seating and any companion tickets (if required).
Our seating configuration is flexible so the wheelchair and ambulant seating locations will vary from event to event, it is usual for us to have several locations for you to choose from, for wheelchair users; at the front of the flat floor seating beside the stage, a raised platform at the rear of the floor and also there are a few locations in our balcony area.
