Day Fever Hits Aberdeen

Forget feeling like your clubbing days are behind you. DAY FEVER is a revolution, a joyous celebration where people from all walks of life come together to dance, laugh and relive the magic of those late nights out. There’s no dress code, no egos, just pure positivity. DAY FEVER hits the Granite City on Saturday 28th February 2026 for its Aberdeen debut at P&J Live.

In early 2024, a bold idea was born between friends: actress Vicky McClure, filmmaker and broadcaster Jonny Owen, and Jon McClure, frontman of Reverend & The Makers, his brother Chris McClure and Tramlines co-founder James O’Hara. They wanted to launch a daytime clubbing experience that’s all about fun, freedom and fabulous tunes.

What started out as a one-off event in Sheffield has now exploded into a nationwide phenomenon with over 210,000 happy dancers and 30 venues joining the revolution to date.

Kicking off at 3pm and coming to a close at 8pm, thousands of partygoers from every walk of life are hitting the dancefloor to dance the day away. This is the disco that doesn’t ruin your Sunday, and has proven so popular, it has sold out at various venues across the country.

Vicky McClure, co-founder of DAY FEVER and well-known actress for her roles in Line of Duty and Trigger Point, said: “Travelling up and down the country and seeing so many people enjoying themselves has been such as joy. We’re thrilled that people feel comfortable at DAY FEVER. Hearing their stories has shown us how important it is to just take a break from life and have a bloody good dance!”

Rob Wicks, Managing Director at P&J Live, said: “Originally targeted at over 30s, the age demographic has widened to over 18s when demand called for it. DAY FEVER has attracted multi-generations to the dancefloor, with mothers, grandmothers and daughters gathering together for a fun and inclusive day out and we can’t wait to welcome the DAY FEVER team to Aberdeen for an afternoon to remember.”
