Following on from their hugely successful UK Spring Tour, Wet Wet Wet have today announced a six date Scottish tour, which kicks off at P&J Live. Wet Wet Wet were the first band to play at AECC in 1990, and will be the first to play in Hall C at the brand new event venue and arena, P&J Live. Wet Wet Wet including Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Kevin Simm will play to crowds in the North-East on Saturday 2 November 2019.

Bursting into the scene out of Glasgow in 1987, Wet Wet Wet have undeniably been a musical phenomenon. The band have gone to sell over 15 million albums and singles, including three No.1s – Help From My Friends, Goodnight Girl and Love is All Around.

All you need to know about attending an event at P&J Live

GETTING HERE:

Don't get Wet Wet Wet, Get the Stagecoach PJ1 from Stance 10 at Union Square Bus Station direct to P&J Live from every 10 minutes. The first bus departing at 5:30pm and the last at 7:15pm. Please note the JET 727 can also take you to the gig from Union Square serving Broad Street, Kitty Brewster, Great Northern Road and Bucksburn. Find Jet 727 timetable here.

The PJ1 will also depart P&J Live from the events bus stop next to Aloft Hotel, buses will operate directly to Union Square Bus Station, via Great Northern Road and Broad Street, stopping when required. This service will be available once the event finishes at 11pm and will run approximately every 5 minutes until each rock 'n' roller is transported home safely.

If you are getting here by car, please enter via Dyce Drive, into the TECA site. On exit, for northbound, you may exit via Dyce Drive or Wellheads Drive. Southbound and City Centre you can exit via the A96. The A96 and Wellheads Drive are bus gates, and therefore only buses can enter via these points.

You can either park in the Subterranean (underground parking) or the overground parking. You can directly enter the venue via the Subterranean car park, this entrance is also accessible via escalators and lifts.

There are various ways to pre book in advance and pay on exit for your parking at P&J Live;

Pre Book Online: You can pre-book your parking up to 24 hours before the event by visiting here.

On site payment machines: We accept both cash and card payments on site, pay on exit is required by entering your vehicle registration at any one of our machines located in the car parks.

APCOA Connect App: Up to 1 hour after you have left the venue, you can pay for your parking on the APCOA Connect App. Once you have downloaded the app, use location code 6680 for the Sub-T Car Park (underground) and location code 2356 for the Overground Car Park.

By Phone: On exit, you can call APCOA on 01895 262122, just follow the instructions and use location code 6680 for the Sub-T Car Park (underground) and location code 2356 for the Overground Car Park.

Extensive bicycle parking is available in both the overground and underground car parks free of charge.

If you are dropping off or picking someone up from an event, please note the maximum wait time in our car parks is 30 minutes. Parking charges will apply if your car is within the car park for more than 30 minutes. This also applies if you cannot find a space, you will not be charged if you exit the car park within 30 minutes.

SECURITY:

We take the safety of our customers very seriously, as such please allow extra time when arriving at the venue as there will be security measures in place;

· Random searches and full bag searches will be in operation. No large handbags and no backpacks are permitted.

· We will not allow any large bags, backpacks, holdalls, luggage or computer bags into the arena, (Bags larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm will not be permitted). There is no storage or cloak room facility available so please make alternative arrangements before arriving to the venue.

· The venue will not be responsible for late admission or non-admission as a result of this policy.

The following items are all prohibited from being brought into the venue by customers;

· Large 35mm cameras

· Bags and briefcases

· Backpacks

· Video cameras or recording devices

· Laser pointers or noise makers

· Selfie sticks

· Laptop computers, ipads or tablets

· Camera bags

· Illegal items

At P&J live it is our aim to be completely cashless, all of our bars, kiosks and restaurants accept card payments, this is more efficient, safe and ensures a speedy transaction. There are therefore no cash machines on the TECA site.

What time is the Box Office open?

Our box office at P&J Live will be open on concert days only. This will be open from 17:30 on the date of the show only and closes once the main act comes on stage.

How do I get to P&J Live from outside Aberdeen?

Getting into Aberdeen has never been easier with the completion of the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.

P&J Live is located close to Aberdeen airport, six miles northwest of the city centre you can reach the venue using a range of transport options.
