Purpose of Role:

The role of Social and Digital Marketing Executive is to work with the marketing team to implement, engage and evaluate marketing campaigns across all of P&J Live’s social platforms. Consistently growing and developing reach and engagement of the sites and ultimately generating footfall and ticket sales in line with sales and attendance targets.

The requirements of the business are such that a high degree of flexibility is necessary and therefore some evening and weekend event work will be required, this is to ensure a strong social presence is maintained during live events and announcements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the venue's marketing and media strategy including website content management and digital marketing campaigns
  • Manage the in venue digital signage, uploading content, designing show reals and short videos for public display
  • Implement a social media communication strategy that ensures we as a brand reach our desired audiences
  • Coordinate the venue's digital and social networking profiles, regularly update all online platforms, responsible for reaching new and existing audiences
  • Use social networking platforms to generate maximum reach for the brand while growing, engaging and interacting with our audience
  • Deliver a successful social media presence for the venue, the brand and our clients events
  • Carry out research and development of existing audiences through analysis of events to ensure customer retention and re-engagement

Skills:

  • Confidence and ability to manage and create new content on social media platforms
  • Flair for digital design and creating new, on brand content
  • Excellent written English skills with an ability to write informative, accurate and creative copy
  • Ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to work flexibly under pressure, to prioritise and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at levels, both internally and externally
  • Examples of self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative

Experience:

  • Acute attention to detail and experience in copy writing
  • Experience of providing excellent customer care with local knowledge
  • Experience of working with staff at all levels throughout a company
  • Proven ability and desire to work as part of a team
  • Experience using Hoot Suite and design packages such as Photo Shop, Illustrator and InDesign

Can I drop off and pick up someone without paying parking fees?

If you are dropping off or picking someone up from an event, please note the maximum wait time in our car parks is 30 minutes. Parking charges will apply if your car is within the car park for more than 30 minutes. This also applies if you cannot find a space, you will not be charged if you exit the car park within 30 minutes.

How can I purchase tickets for a concert at P&J Live?

Tickets are available from our ticketing agent Ticketmaster on www.ticketmaster.co.uk or by calling 08444 77 9000.

P&J Live do not sell tickets directly.

What time is the Box Office open?

Our box office at P&J Live will be open on concert days only. This will be open from 17:30 on the date of the show only and closes once the main act comes on stage.

Will I be able to purchase food at P&J Live?

There is a wide range of food and beverage options available to purchase for concerts and events, including catering outlets offering a variety of hot food options.

Please note - it is against venue policy to allow patrons to bring in their own food and drink to the venue. At P&J live it is our aim to be completely cashless, all of our bars, kiosks and restaurants accept card payments, this is more efficient, safe and ensures a speedy transaction. There are therefore no cash machines on the TECA site.

How do I get to P&J Live from outside Aberdeen?

Getting into Aberdeen has never been easier with the completion of the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.

P&J Live is located close to Aberdeen airport, six miles northwest of the city centre you can reach the venue using a range of transport options.
